And...the main reason to go is to see the recently reformed REDD KROSS, the most under-rated classic L.A. local band ever. This should be an awesome show... and the other performers in the line-up aren't half bad either.

I went! The best performances were Wired All Wrong and Basement Jaxx. I actually wasn't very much into Redd Kross. Peeping Tom was also cool to see, the first Mike Patton experience for me since the last Mr Bungle dates 7 years ago!

We wanted to catch Wired All Wrong!! But, we got there too late. Basement Jaxx was awesome... Although, I couldn't see very well since there were sooooo many people!!
What? you weren't into Redd Kross?? Red Kross was the highlight of our night!!!

Redd Kross was my favorite of the event... with Blonde Redhead a close second. Everyone is raving about the Beck show, but frankly he seemed completely disconnected from the audience. It was as if he was having a party on stage...and just wanted the audience to watch. Hmmm... like puppets. It's all making sense now. I was bummed not to see Wired All Wrong, but by the time we made it through traffic and parking, their set was over. Basement Jaxx sounded awesome, but I didn't see much of the stage. Mike Patton's PEEPING TOM was ok, but it was more FAITH NO MORE than Mr. Bungle. An excellent first annual event. We'll be back next year if they can get more great bands.
