What a wonderful exciting eco-friendly project to help save our planet!! And thanks
to Tree People for the opportunity to volunteer!!!

Join TreePeople and the L.A. Department of Recreation and Parks for their kickoff of the Million Trees Initiative!

They will be planting more than 150 trees in the Machado Youth Camp area of the park. Starting in the fall of 2006, they will helping volunteers plant 300,000 trees on nearly 16,000 acres of parkland in Los Angeles.

These plantings will take place over the next several years. (check their Calendar for more info!)

By the way,
here are some of my recommendation for the DVDs to check out.
