Camper has cafes (health food shop) in Barcelona & Berlin called FoodBALL?! We just found out about this from our friend Judy (another friend of ours who always has cool interesting resources) and thought it was really cool!
FoodBALL is made out of whole grain rice and filled with various local organic ingredients - mushrooms, tofu, chicken, or beet root. They remind me of Japanese rice balls called Onigiri :) With the FoodBALL, you can chose from different dipping sauces, such as soy and ginger or coconut curry. They also have sweet FoodBALLS. The cafe seems to be laid out kind of like a donut shop except that the food they offer is healthy and organic :)

I would love to see FoodBALL around town in LA sometime :D It would be cool to have places like this where we can quickly stop by to get something healthy, good and cheap instead of having not much fast-food option when we don't have much time.
The interior of the cafe has been designed by Marti Guixe (same guy who did biodegradable Plant Me Pets!) He also designed camper's bags and posters! I love and admire his stuff!! and the subject he works on...

Yup! Read about it in Dwell a few weeks back. The guy is kinda CRAZY! Anti-designer-ish. His concept of fast food is interesting. Even more fascinating is his design for the physical cafes themselves... the stairstep seating was implented in lieu of tables and chairs to emphasize the concept of "fast food'.
