A friend of ours (Karen!) told me about this obscure Korean film called "301/302" a while back. First reason being, is that the title is called "301/302", the number I use (302) to identify myself. Secondly, this movie storyline revolves a lot around cooking, which is one of the things I love to do. And lastly, this film is somewhat part of the Asian horror genre... and I'm Japanese whose husband loves all foreign horror films :D Hehehehe! So, we had many reasons to watch this movie, and we put this in our queue at Netflix, so we could check it out!!
What a weird movie with an interesting twist and very psychotic!
The movie just kept developing in a direction that I was least expecting.
It probably goes into the same genre as "Audition", "Oldboy", and "Lady Vengeance". Same type of eerie movie... shot somewhat artistic and the story is pretty abstract.
Plot Summary from imdb:
"A chef and an anorexic writer are neighbors in an apartment building. The chef (301) tries to entice her neighbor to eat with fabulous meals. The writer (302) refuses to eat, and this refusal begins a turbulent relationship that forces both women to delve into their pasts of torment."
I thought I would lose my appetite after watching this movie, but strangely enough, I was very hungry afterwards for some reason. I've been craving Korean food ever since!
...Anyway... very interesting movie!

I just thought about this... How LAME that I recommended a movie to you that I DID NOT watch myself! The name and themes were reason enough! 302, food and psychotic tendencies! YES!
