We've been working really hard on getting our Z-Grade Eco-Monster Puppets ready for the TBWA/Chiat/Day holiday boutique sales event :) We decided to participate 2 weeks ago, so there was not much time to prepare many of them... but these puppets will be available on our online website when we launch in December 2006.
The concept of these monsters is to encourage people to become more Eco-Friendly, and we wanted to create something Z-Grade-ike with a little flavor of horror, weirdness, and wackiness from our artwork. Some monsters are friendly monsters, some are upset, mad, or sad. They all come from different parts of this world.
And, these Eco-Monsters are created with 90% recycled materials!! (The thread I use is the only material that isn’t recycled!)

A friend of ours, Riki decided to sew her puppet (Baby Mud Monster) onto a t-shirt as a gift and sent me a photo! Check out the photo above. Fun idea :D

So THAT's what you've been up to! Very unique style! I like your fabric choices. Are those Paul's old pants?!?!?! My favorite one is... oh wait... I can't decide... but I like the pocket flap face one. So WHO is going to put on the puppet show at Chiat?

What a day!
We got many good reactions from our Eco-Monsters :D We brought 16 and sold 14!
That's so funny you mentioned about the pocket flap face one. That's the one that sold first. And many people came back to ask us where it went :D
