Frankie Masters has been on my list of music to get ever since I caught his music at LIVE365 on iTunes. LIVE 365 is a great online jazz radio station, and they focus on playing JAZZ from the 40s, 50s and 60s era of this great music.
Anyway, we found "The Best Of Frankie Masters" CD at Tower for $6.80 yesterday!! I couldn't believe I was able to find the exact CD I was looking for!! Yay! It is sad that Tower Records is going out of business... but we might as well take advantage of their great bargain prices while we can :P
Frankie Masters was born April 12, 1904. He led a big band with many hit records in the 1930s and 1940s. I've been listening to the CD... and I love it!! ...I do however avoid listening to Pearl Harbor themed songs though... History... History....
