I read an article about KAMINI on BRUTUS and thought "What an inspiring story!"
KAMINI who works as a nurse and lives in Marly-Gomont, France (...there is supposedly nothing but cows and farms there) wanted to be a hip-hop artist. He has written his songs for the past 10 years, recorded a song, and put together a music video with a friend.
He didn't get any good responses from record companies, but his video clip spread to the internet (Bulletin Board, YouTube, WAT.tv, Dailymotion.com...etc). And he was exposed to thousands of people and started getting lots of reactions.
Within a month, 4,000,000 people had accessed his website. Wow...

He sings in French, so I have no idea what he is rapping about... But, supposedly he raps about him and his life (cows, tractors, soccer, racism, and being different.)
I'm not a fan of hip-hop and rap at all, but I definitely like KAMINI's style :)
I like imagining him growing up surrounded by cows and green in Marly-Gomont... nothing much to do but to think about doing something with his life.
