As you walk in from the parking lot, you walk by the koi pond. There is a bridge in the middle of the pond where you can walk and take pictures. This place makes me think of Disneyland/Indiana Jones/Jungle Cruise/Pirates of the Caribbean because of the deco and setting of the restaurant with wooden crates, barrels, and fishing nets. The style is not modern, hip or classy by any means, and some people might say the food is average. Yea, I could agree... but they never have disappointed me with their food. And we love their Prime Rib, and their Malaysian Prawns are just sooo yummy :)

When I'm there, I like to imagine what it must have been like back in the day... looking at all the celebrity pictures on the wall.

Last night, our reservation was at 9:45pm. (It was booked pretty solid till then.) We were there by 7:30pm thinking we would just hang out at the bar and wait. When we got there, there was a long line for checking in... So, we decided to stay in the line to checkin first. About 10 minutes later, a waitress walked by and said "Anyone who doesn't mind outside seating?" So, we raised our hands. Then we were seated right away!

It was a cold night, but it was very comfortable and nice sitting outside with heat lamps. We've gone there a couple of times and tried different menu items before, but now we just order our favorites. Paul got their Prime Rib with steamed Asparagus and iceberg wedge salad, and I ordered Malaysian Prawns with garlic mashed potatoes and classic dinner salad. We each ordered a glass of wine. Everything was really good and worked out perfect :) We were done with our dinner by 9pm, and our reservation was at 9:45!! We got really lucky... :P
