The artist, Gretchen Fleener is running her business alone from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She explains on her website that she got fed up with throwing away unwanted junk mail, so she decided to create something useful with it instead.
I get fed up with all the junk mail we receive daily as well and often think of the way to recycle. So, I got excited when I came across her products :)
She currently sells wallets, purses, handmade paper, magnets, and beads. It mentions on her website that she uses shredded junk mail as packing material for orders. And supposedly, the hang tags and her business cards are made by junk mail as well. That is pretty cool.
