My recent favorite music called "Hana" by Asa-Chang & Junray (Japanese band).
There music is almost like an abstract play in a dreamland. I got goose bumps when I heard their song for the first time. Very inspiring...
Asa-Chang is the founder and former percussionist for Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, and he had formed "Asa-Chang & Junray" with Hidehiko Urayama, a guitarist and a programmer, in 1998.
With help from a traditional tabla player (U-Zhaan), they have created "the most out-of-this-world music"...
There are "tabla drumming, electronic effects, spoken voice, and miscellaneous instruments ranging from horns to mandolins"...
I highly recommend checking them out :)
I had to buy their CD after listening to few of their songs on last.fm!
The album I bought is called "Jun Ray Song Chang" and has my favorite song "Hana" however the compilation of this album wasn't so great to listen to as a whole album since they didn't spread out or include wider variety of different songs. So, it kind of starts to get little too much afterwards... But, I'm still happy with this purchase though! It's nice when one of their songs plays randomly on iTunes with mixture of different music I listen to :)
