DONTCLICK.IT

Interesting concept and research.
Alex Frank started the project DONTCLICK.IT when he started questioning existing interface "habits" on the web. Yea, why do we always have to design a website with clickable links? If same thing can be done by mouse over action, less people may have carpal tunnel syndrome!

I was going through DONTCLICK.IT interface, and I actually liked the smooth interface of not having to click through everything once I started to get used to it. It's funny... sometimes, my brain seems to be telling me "Click It!! Click!!" and I have to fight not to click certain links. Or I feel frustrated because things starts moving when I didn't command (click) to do certain action. But you know what, I believe it's all in our brain. Once I got used to the interface, there was no problem. His research shows that more than 70% of people say they don't miss clicking.

I may want to start suggesting "DONTCLICK.IT" interface for my future clients and see what happens :)
