Last time I was at Urth Caffe, I had my eyes on their Green Tea Latte. (I believe they called it "Japanese Blessing Latte" or something like that.) So, yesterday morning, I was in the area and had some time to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with some of my magazines I haven't read in a long time... I decided to go to the Urth Caffe and try their Green Tea Latte :)
It was delicious! The tea latte was sweetened (unlike the kind you get in Japan), but I didn't mind it at all. I could still taste the green tea Matcha powder and had little bitterness to the latte which is important. It was made well.
I was obsessed with getting my latte made with a swan picture for my blog since they have those on their menu and they looked cute! But, I guess they can't really make it quite the same like the pictures they have on their menu...
Anyway!
Perfect peaceful enriching morning...
I so missed going to a cafe to just read and hang out. I used to do this all the time when I was a student. I started to crave doing this after reading Karen's blog the other day... I was so happy :) ...well, rest of my day after this didn't go anything like I planned ...and was very frustrating, but I at least had a good morning ;)
The Urth Caffe is a perfect hang out place. They serve very good organic coffees, various different teas, fruits, pastries, sandwiches, and more! They also have big outside seating area in the back, and you can usually find a table pretty quickly here.
There are currently 3 Urth Caffe in Los Angeles. The one on Melrose is the one I've gone the most with Paul. And it's usually difficult to find a table there, but I like both locations :)
