My recent book purchase... The Yiddish Policemen's Union by Michael Chabon. The jacket design by Will Staehle!
My main reason for purchasing this book is for the book design. All the detailed illustration and font usage for the layout is very inspiring to me. They've done very nice job printing this book, and some of the illustrations and fonts are embossed! And I love the rough edge paper... Yummy... :)
Of course, I'm excited about reading the book :)
I was reading about the author Michael Chabon on wikipedia, and he sounds very down to earth and his profile looks very interesting.
