Cool Electric Bikes for $1,495! It runs up to 20 mph top speed! Perhaps a great way to commute if you don't live too far away from work :) Save gasoline, no CO2 emissions, get some exercise every day, enjoy the outdoor breeze, and you can ride on the bike path!
Over the weekend, we attended an architectural bicycle tour in Venice led by David Hertz. There were at least 70 people or more at this event! When we rode the street, we pretty much took over the whole street :D
At the end of the tour, we had an opportunity to hang out at David Hertz's actual home!!! We couldn't believe it!! It was amazing...
A lot of the homes we went to see were featured in Dwell magazine. And some homeowners were there to give us a little speech and history about their property... and showed us some features of their house. It was an awesome tour :)
Anyway, David Hertz was riding the Tres Terra Europa Electric Bike this weekend... and we thought it was cool! So, we wanted to check out the specs. Here is what I copied from the website.

Hey... I can see Mike (my brother in the blue t-shirt and hat) and myself in the distance on the pic on the right...and on the left... it's Grace...front and center in the brown top and white shorts. Cool. The tour was phenomenal and David Hertz was an incredible tour guide and host. And his gracious offer of allowing all on the bike tour to actually come into his house at the end of the day... was just amazing. A beautiful structure... impeccably designed. A great day was had by all.
