v. (re • plate): To place unwanted leftovers, typically in a doggie bag, on top of the nearest trash can so that they don't go to waste.

I was browsing People's Design Award at Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum yesterday... and replate got my attention :D

Replate is a food activism project to reduce waste of leftovers.
I like the foundation idea of this activism if those leftovers truly gets eaten by someone who could really appreciate it right away, but that might be really tricky... Well, if you were to place your leftover on top of the nearest trash can for this activism, I would write down the date and the time and indicate "Replate" on your leftover bag or box.

Interesting idea... :)
It would be interesting to follow up and find out if those leftovers truly serves it's purpose.
